JANUARY 22 & 23: Provencal Wine Dinner at Emilio’s Italian Restaurant 7:00PM
It is with much excitement that DeVine and our friends at Emilio’s bring you this delightful romp through the Provencal and Rhone regions of France. This Mediterranean region boasts a diverse landscape of mountains, plains, olive groves, lavender fields, and of course, vineyards which are producing some of the finest blends in the world.
These Provencal-inspired courses have been thoughtfully paired to truly enhance the wines. We hope you’ll be able to attend this “match made in Provence” wine dinner!
This six wine, five course meal at Emilio’s Italian Restaurant is only $65 per person.
Please be prepared to specify how many people are in your party, which date you’ll be attending, and if there are any dietary restrictions or allergies to accommodate.

DECEMBER 4 &5: Holiday in the City Wine Dinner at Emilio’s Italian Restaurant 7:00PM
Join us for a whimsical Winter traipse through some of Europe’s most festive Holiday locations for this six wine, five course meal. This wine dinner will be held over two nights at Emilio’s Italian Restaurant, located at 23 East Beverley Street in Staunton. Space is limited, and reservations are required. At $65 per person, this dinner is likely to fill up quickly.

SEPTEMBER 5: BRIAN CLOWDUS EXPERIENCES PRESENTS THE SOUND OF MUSIC AT WINTERGREEN
September 5th-29th, The Sound of Music will come to life amongst the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains of Wintergreen Resort in a never before seen site-specific production of the iconic show. A unique ski lift ride will set the stage as audiences are transported to a remote and breathtaking location at the resort where they will be greeted by friendly nuns and rowdy von Trapp Children all professing that the hills are truly alive with music. The Sound of Music, the most famous musical of all time, will be performed in a place perfectly meant for it as Wintergreen Resort is transformed into Austria. This limited run boasts an all-star cast of national and local talent with Mother Nature and Wintergreen Resort headlining this incredible musical adventure.

SEPTEMBER 26: GREEK TO ME SUPPER CLUB DINNER 5:00-7:00PM
Supper Club is back! Join us for a delicious Greek-themed Supper Club Dinner Thursday, September 26th.
This three-course prix fixe meal is just $25 per person and includes hors d’oeuvres during reception hour, a starter course, main course, and dessert. We are pleased to announce that this entire meal is gluten free!
To enhance the Supper Club experience, we have carefully selected a variety of four Greek wines to pair with each course.
If you wish to take part in the pairing, you can choose to opt-in for a full glass pour (totaling 4 full glasses of wine) at $38.50 per person, or a half glass pour (two full glasses of wine) at $19.25 per person.
You may choose to add the wine pairing when you make your reservation, or add a pairing the night-of. All pairing wines will be available by the glass or bottle as well.
Kyle Boatright of Winebow will be our special guest educator for this Supper Club, and will be offering insights to each of the unique Greek wines between courses.
Supper Club is by pre-paid reservation only. Space is limited, so make your reservation early. In the spirit of creating a fun, inclusive, social event, we do not reserve tables, only seats and encourage our guests to mix and mingle with new friends!

The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen is pleased to have a diverse group of instructors for the Wildflower Symposium, including well-known local nature photographer and author of The Living Forest book, Robert Llewellyn, and Dr. Jeff Halverson, Meteorologist, who will present climate change and its possible long term effect. Hikes and lectures will be led by recognized botanists, geologists, authors, and artists, each prepared with a full weekend of activities to reconnect you with nature. What is Supper Club, exactly?
A three-course prix fixe meal, with a wine pairing option. Seating is limited, and reservations are on a pre-payment basis. We strive to make Supper Club a social event, and therefore do not reserve tables, only seats.
We begin with a social hour, where we serve light fare, and any beverages you choose. If you opt in to the wine pairings, we will serve your reception wine at this time.
Reception hour is followed by the first course (and wine pairing for those who choose this option). Each subsequent course (and wine pairing) will follow in a timely manner.

A little information about Supper Club:
Supper Club is DeVine’s 3-course dinner, with seating available by pre-paid reservation only. Your reservation fee not only secures your reservation, it covers the cost of your meal. We will run a tab for any beverages you wish to enjoy.
Happy hour will begin at 5:00. Mix, mingle, enjoy light hors d’ouvres and any beverage in the shop; including, but not limited to our expansive by-the-glass wine menu. (If you opt-in to the wine pairings, we’ll serve you a reception wine at this time.)
Meal service begins around 6:00 with a starter course, followed by a plated entree and dessert.
Drinks are available through 7:00.
March’s Supper Club Dinner is $25.00 per person and includes your three-course dinner. For an additional $40.25 per person we will add a full pour, or for $22.00, a half-glass pour of each of our four hand-selected wine pairings to each course.

Okay friends, your wait is finally over! It’s time for another wine dinner!
This December, we will be sipping on some spectacular winter wines as we embark on a journey through Bordeaux.
France is second in the world in terms of wine production. Bordeaux is, by far, its most important appellation, producing over 450 million bottles of wine each year. Being home to the most renown and highly coveted wine blend in the world, it’s no wonder why Bordeaux blends are replicated more often than any other style. Join us Wednesday, December 5th or Thursday, December 6th for a six wine, five course meal centered around the beautiful blends of Bordeaux.
Dinner begins at 7:00, and seating is available by reservation only.

NOVEMBER 2: Thanksgiving and Next Day Pre-Orders Begin
Now through November 14th, we’ll be accepting pre-orders for desserts and side dishes to complement your Thanksgiving dinner, as well as next-day pre-orders. The “Next-Day” items are designed to be served for breakfast or brunch, so you don’t have to wake up and start cooking all over again.
Orders for both Thanksgiving and Next-Day will only be available for pick up from 10:00-4:00 on Wednesday, November 21st. To ensure a smooth pick up process, all orders must be pre-paid.
DeVine is happy to put your order in/on your personal dishes, so you don’t have to deal with extra clutter. If you wish to take advantage of this service, you may drop your dishes off no later than Sunday, November 18th between 10:00 and 3:00.

For most of us, our experience with Pinot is probably limited to Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio, with the occasional Pinot Gris thrown in for good measure…
However, there’s so much more to Pinot than just those few examples. Join us tomorrow as we welcome Brian Fairtile of Siema wines for a Pop-up Battle of the Pinots Wine Tasting!!! We’ll be letting the Pinots duke it out for the title of “Friends of DeVine’s Favorite Pinot!” Be sure to come between 4:00 and 6:00 so you can taste and weigh in on this epic wine battle where everyone’s a winner!!!

Due to inclement weather, Emilio’s will be closed today, and the wine dinner scheduled for this evening will be cancelled. Thursday’s dinner will go on as planned (though it is completely full and no new reservations will be accepted for Thursday).
